URLatex allows you to preview links before you click on them.
URL Shortening services, such as TinyURL.com, Bit.ly, and is.gd, have seen an increase in harmful web sites using their services. In fact, shortened URLs can be so dangerous, that many businesses (Panera Bread), popular websites (MySpace.com and Yahoo! Answers), and even countries (Saudi Arabia) have blocked them entirely.
In fact, security professionals are also suggesting users to always preview the short URLs before accessing it, especially after the shortener service cli.gs got hacked, exposing millions of users.
URLatex aims to eliminate this problem by giving website owners the ability to allow users to preview links on their web sites without installing any software or plug-ins on the users' computers.
